Conservation Lac Brome (CLB) is proud to present Quilliams Nature Experience, a sensory and educational experience designed to showcase the beauty and ecological richness of the Quilliams Creek. This self-guided journey, accompanied by audio through the ONDAGO app, invites paddlers to travel upstream along the peaceful waterway in a non-motorized vessel. We invite you to the launch event on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
Along the way, participants are guided by the warm voices of CLB Ambassadors Louise Penny, internationally renowned author, and Raymond Cloutier, actor and committed writer. Their storytelling inspires observation, sparks curiosity, and reveals the hidden wonders of the Quilliams-Durrull Wildlife Reserve wetlands.
Through this initiative, and with the support of its project partners, CLB aims to delight both residents and visitors while raising awareness of the fragility of this ecosystem and the importance of protecting the aquatic environments within the Lake Brome watershed.
The launch of Quilliams Nature Experience will take place on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
We invite you to bring your own kayak or paddleboard to enjoy the route as soon as the presentation concludes, around 4:30 p.m. Boats will also be available for rent at Hotel Lac Brome.
